My car again!!!!!!! Options

I have spent 4 days chasing Tesco and being passed to 2 other companies that apparently they use for deliveries l have got no-where!!

Today l waited all day for a call and then phoned the number that l was given yesterday, l even spoke to someone there yesterday and today they dont know what l am talking about and kept treating me as if l was stupid!! I was even told several times that " We are called Expert logistics and we have nothing to do with Tesco, have you spoken to them because you have phoned Expert Logistics" I'm afraid l informed them that as the injured party l was disgusted to be treated this way and l will be telling the police how unco-operative they have been.

I then phoned Tesco and told them that they have got to sort it when l get sent all round the houses and no-one knows what l am talking about! GRRR

The good news is that my insurance company have agreed repairs and apparently they agreed quickly and without a quibble!

So my hero of the day is Admiral Insurance who have been excellent. Pity l cant say the same for the others!

Oh Christine, that is so typical of a big company practising the art of buck-passing! No wonder you feel cheesed off.I really think they do this sort of thing in the hopes that you will run out of time and patience ang give up chasing them.

Good news about Admiral, though.

Well....................... have given up with Tesco and have told the Police they are being obstructive, will leave it to the Police and my insurance company. The stupid part is that they wanted me to tell them exactly what happened so they could do their own investigation into the incident!! Honestly l have tried and been sent round the houses, surely they should want to resolve it.

Left my beautiful broken car at the garage and picked up a courtesy car, they made sure that its the same as mine so l will be ok driving it. Driving it is a bit of an overstatement!!! We are under a snow blanket and not going anywhere!

At least its going to be good as new by Christmas, or so they have said! Pretty sure it will be after christmas now!

Thank you Lynne for the info, may use it if l need to, always useful to have a good number and a name to ask for. ThumpUp

Hi Christine,

Just read your posts on your car that is so bad that the driver ran away without leaving details. I hope you can get more for him doing this. As for Tescos -never liked the company and dont shop there as the companies ethos is questionable in my opinion eg how they treat their suppliers and they really dragged their feet with the free range chicken thing. So i amnt surprised they are so obstructive and thankfully your insurance company are getting your car sorted and you dont have to wait on tescos.
